I realized that today is Harry Potter's 33rd birthday (my source for his age is, admittedly, Wikipedia). I really am grateful that J. K. Rowling wrote those Harry Potter books. I'm told her rise to literary fame was not easy, nor did she initially expect to become famous from her books. Not only have her books captured imaginations young and old, her personal story is an inspiration to anyone with a good idea. Happy Birthday, Harry Potter, and many more!
So, what am I grateful for today? The imagination and proactivity of J. K. Rowling to share Harry Potter with the world.
