Memorial Day

I am grateful for those who have fought and who do now fight for freedom. Jesus Christ taught that the greatest in the kingdom of God are those who serve (Matthew 20:27-28). Indeed, service in the military is a highly respected form of service in this country, and I am grateful for those who have served in the military and who do now serve there. It is a great blessing to have people who believe in "that liberty in the which God hath made us free." (Alma 61:9, page 362 in The Book of Mormon)
