Blistery Fingers

I finished my last final exam today. To celebrate (and really just for kicks and giggles, as well as possibly encouraging those who still have exams), I played my cello on campus for a while. It turned out that I played for so long that a couple of my fingers started to get blisters. I wanted to keep playing because I enjoyed it so much. However, I knew that this was my cue to stop.

I am grateful for the human body's reaction to pain and fatigue. It is true that we experience pain in order to avoid more serious pain. :)
