Lovestruck

I have a friend who is also a composer. This great composer friend has spent the last couple of years working on a movie musical. I was very happy to attend the premiere tonight! The film was lovely, adorable, and touching. The music was well done and very effective. I may not be a film or music critic, but I know it is a great work when I find myself becoming emotionally invested in the story and the development of the characters. I was, seriously, lovestruck by the beautiful work! I not only supported my friend (and several other friends who were involved in it), but I also experienced a good piece of art that left me with elevated aspirations, hopes, and ideals. I am grateful for a wonderful premiere of a wonderful, locally-made movie musical!
