I went downtown today with my family this afternoon. We brought some food from home and ate it at a rooftop garden. It was refreshing. Not only were we able to literally rise above the noise and bother of the streets, there was some green grass and other plants to admire up there as we enjoyed our treats and each other's company. I am grateful for rooftop gardens, or rooftop lounges. I don't visit such places very often, and I'm glad we did today. :)
