"We declare the means by which mortal life is created to be divinely appointed."
This statement explains that God gave us, His spirit children, the ability to have mortal children. Because this power is given to us from heaven, God cares about how His children enter the world. This is why many Christians, including myself, have such strong feelings about the conservative viewpoints about abortion and marriage. I believe that this procreative ability is given to us for two reasons: First, to bring children into the world and into families; Second, to strengthen and enhance the intimate marriage relationship. The things that matter most, love. family, children, parenthood, home, are the things that provide the most fulfilling happiness, and I am grateful for that.
