I got to go to a fun party where the host family set off fireworks for everyone to enjoy. Fireworks were going off throughout the neighborhood as well, and it was all quite impressive (there was also this romantic couple being all cuddly, so fireworks were definitely going off there).
Professional fireworks shows are incredible, but home fireworks shows (where fireworks are legal) are special because it's a colorful adventure right at home with loved ones instead of something far off. I am grateful for the smaller home fireworks.
