Several hours after my last post, at about 2:45am, the fire alarm went off at my apartment complex. Yeah...it was awful. Acting on cue, the guys who lived in the building evacuated. Firefighters appeared after about 10–15 minutes, and the alarms were finally called off for good a little after 3:15am.
I'm glad any hazard, whatever it was, was taken care of. But I'm also very grateful that I still had the capacity to work today. I was not nearly as tired as I thought I would be, though I needed a nap in my room after work.
