This is a blog of gratitude, updated daily. This blog is the result of a personal challenge: to see how many things I can find to be grateful for. Is there a limit to the amount of good in our lives, in our modern world? I believe the limit doesn't exist.

Jesus Taught Us to Forgive Others and so Can You
I don't think I was in a situation that required forgiveness today, because every interaction I had today was pleasant and amiable. Even so, I really appreciated the suggestion on the LDS website for today: "Be kind instead of right for today." I once had great struggles with this principle (and I'm still learning, of course). It's hard to learn that sometimes kindness is truly more important than what you think is right. Over the years, I have learned to pick my battles, to ignore things that would hurt more than help, even if I felt strongly about it. I am grateful for Jesus Christ's supreme, sublime example of forgiveness.
