It is the last day of classes for me, and I had a lot of work to do! Today, I am so grateful that I was able to focus and complete five short papers (two pages each), and half of a larger paper that is due tomorrow. I am grateful for the help I received from my parents (encouraging words), and from God (blessed with insights and a clear mind as I worked).
I am reminded of one of my favorite hymns, which reads in part:
"Why should we mourn, or think our lot is hard?
'Tis not so; all is right.
Why should we think to earn a great reward
If we now shun the fight?
Gird up your loins; fresh courage take.
Our God will never us forsake;
And soon we'll have this tale to tell--
All is well! All is well!"
--Second verse of "Come, Come, Ye Saints," Hymns of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Hymn #30.
Do the work, and God will bless your efforts. I have seen that time and time again.
