Together, We Set Up A Success

This morning, I got a lot done on my own. This was a day of errands. This evening, however, I had a lot to do to put together a barbeque activity for me and my neighbors. I didn't think there would be that much to take care of, but I quickly learned from my mistake. I was able to recruit some friends for help, for which I am tremendously grateful. I am grateful not only for the success of the activity, but also for the people who helped me make it successful. It is true what John Donne said: no man is an island. Alone, I would have set up an average activity. Together, we set up a success.
