The next statement in The Family: A Proclamation to the World. Life truly is precious. I believe it is a gift from God. We are all blessed with a life on earth, and we will all be blessed with a life beyond this earth. I agree that life can be hard, even very hard. We enter the world in hardship; we experience many trying challenges; we find it hard to leave this world and those we love. Is it all worth it? I believe it is. God cares about each of us. The goal is not perfect happiness on earth, but perfect happiness in the next life.
